The town of Luton is medium-sized by British standards, with a
population of about 200,000 people - big enough so that there are
many facilities of all kinds on offer, but small enough that our
students can quickly find their way around and feel at home. All of
London's facilities and attractions are just 30 minutes away by
train.

Courses by subject area All foundation, undergraduate,
postgraduate and short programmes. If you don't have standard
qualifications for entry into higher education, the four-year
Extended Degree provides a path to degree level study in all
subject areas. The
International Extended Degree is especially designed for EU
students who need to improve their language skills.

Notes
1The International Foundation Courses are for those wishing to
prepare for entry to the university's undergraduate or postgraduate
programmes of study.
2English Plus programmes are for advanced speakers of English who
wish to combine English studies with other studies within the
University Modular Credit Scheme.
International Scholarships Scheme
The International student's Scholarships scheme
The International Students’ Scholarship Scheme is funded by the
University directly and aims to provide financial assistance to
students from overseas who are applying to study at the university
of Bedfordshire.
There are two types available.
1.The University of Bedfordshire scholarship-value GBP 1000.
Award criteria for the university of Bedfordshire Scholarship
Academic Merit.
Relevant work experience/research
Ability to contribute to the UOB's development
2.The Vic e Chancellor's Scholarship-Value GBP 4000
Award criteria for the Vice Chancellor
Available to undergraduate students who can demonstrate academic
excellent and/or exceptional achievement within international
industry.
Award of University of Bedfordshire and Vice Chancellor's
Scholarships
University of Bedfordshire Scholarship awards will be made in the
form of a tuition fee discount.
All Scholarship applications will be considered by the Scholarships
committee which meets twice a year for September and February
intakes
Scholarships will only be awarded for the first year of Programme.
A Student may not receive more than one scholarship.
Application deadline for September/October intakes is 01 September
Application deadline for January/February intake is 01 January
Successful applicants will be contacted via email, within 14 days of
the closing date for applications.
Due to the large number of applicants and rising costs associated
with this, we regret that is no longer possible to write to
unsuccessful applicants.
If you have not received a reply within 14 days of the published
deadline date. You should assume that you have been unsuccessful in
your application.
