The University was set up in 1881 and it was given
degree-awarding status in 1948. The typical duration of 1st
degree is 3 years and that of a Postgraduate study is 1 year.
Free Internet access is available to the students. Foundation,
Undergraduate and Postgraduate Courses are available.
The University of Nottingham has three stunning campuses in
and around Nottingham – University Park (with its adjacent
Medical School), Jubilee Campus and Sutton Bonington. All
campuses provide a stunning environment for living, studying
and working and are unrivalled in the UK.
University Park
lies some three miles to the West of the City Centre. It is an
extensive parkland site of 330 acres and the only UK campus to
have won the coveted Green.
Jubilee Campus
is close to University Park and the City. This 60 acre site
was opened by HM the Queen in 1999 and has won many
architectural and environmental awards. Its stunning buildings
offer state-of-the-art facilities for students and staff.
Sutton Bonington
is located 10 miles south of Nottingham and is set in the
beautiful Leicestershire countryside. In addition to a
wonderful environment for learning, the campus offers
extensive facilities for staff and students and easy access to
local cities.
